• Clubs & Organizations

     

    The Whitcomb School offers a variety of interest-based clubs and organizatons for students.

     

    They include:

    • Student Council - In grades 5/6, a group of students are elected by their peers to represent their homerooms. They hold biweekly meetings with administration to plan student events, oversee the recycling program, and address student concerns. In grades 7/8, students are elected by their peers and focus on leadership and community service, including recycling, school spirit, 7/8 dances and charity fund-raising.

    • National Junior Honor Society - Our National Junior Honor Society ROARS! The 1LT Charles W. Whitcomb School is pleased to recognize middle-level students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Membership in National Junior Honor Society is a privilege. Our selected Honor Society members exhibit excellence in academics and leadership, display honorable and admirable character, and demonstrate a commitment to service and good citizenship – all of which indicate that the member is willing to use personal talents and skills for the improvement of both self and society.
