The 1st Lt. Charles W. Whitcomb School offers the following opportunities for our students.
Visual Art
Grades 6-8 meet daily for a full term. Art education is essential to the intellectual, social and emotional development of each individual. Our curriculum encourages creativity and innovation, self-expression, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Instruction includes art production, analysis, history, and aesthetics of art and design. We provide students with the opportunity to explore various methods, materials and techniques including drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and printmaking.
