Study, Planning, and Organizational Skills Resources - 2020-2021
This page of the MHS website is designed to aid students in getting organized, studying for tests and quizzes, and trouble-shooting problems with technology and online learning. The resources provided are designed to support the development of executive functioning skills. Executive functioning deals with organization, working memory, flexible thinking, and self-control. We all use these skills on a regular basis to learn, work, and manage daily tasks. Resources supporting executive functioning will help to improve focus, follow directions, and handle emotions, among other things.
The resources available on this webpage can help organize students’ thoughts, writing, coursework, and preparation for various forms of assessment that students will experience throughout their educational career. With greater structure and perseverance, students will experience greater success in school and beyond.
We hope that these resources are helpful in supporting your learning so take some time to review the materials available and use them to better organize your schoolwork and your life.
