Graduation
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of the Marlborough High School Class of 2026 together with their families, friends, mentors, faculty and staff.
Marlborough Public Schools will hold the Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2026 on Sunday, June 7. Please see the complete schedule of Commencement events and details below. We hope all families can join us.
Graduation Ceremony: Sunday, June 7 at Noble Field at 11 a.m.
Student Arrival
Graduates should arrive by 10 a.m. Students may either be dropped off
at Noble Field or park in the MHS student lot. We will have shuttle buses running at 9:45 a.m. to bring graduates from the MHS student lot to the ceremony at Noble Field. Students cannot park at Whitcomb School for the ceremony.
Student Attire
Graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable yet professional attire to the ceremony. High heels are not allowed on the turf field.
Tickets and Admission
Each family will receive four tickets to the graduation ceremony for family/guests. Anyone attending the graduation ceremony must have a ticket to enter Noble Field.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide additional tickets due to Noble Field's seating capacity, but the ceremony will be livestreamed and recorded by WMCT-TV. Please follow them on YouTube and across all channels.
Parking
Families arriving closer to the start of the ceremony may park at the Whitcomb Middle School. The parking lots will open at 10 a.m. We encourage families to carpool to reduce the number of cars. Overflow parking is available at MHS with shuttle bus service to and from the ceremony.
Please note: families will need to present tickets to park and to use the shuttle bus service.
Accessibility and Accommodations
Handicapped seating and parking are available for the event. You will need an authorized handicapped parking plate and tag to access the handicapped parking area.
Please email Pam VanBuskirk at pvanbuskirk@mps-edu.org to request handicapped seating and/or parking.
Photography
We have once again hired professional photographers for our graduation ceremony. These photos will be free to all students and families following the ceremony. Family members will not be allowed to leave their seats to take pictures during the ceremony.
Guest Etiquette
Graduation is a formal celebration of student achievement. Please refrain from using loud noise makers (i.e., air horns, cowbells) during the graduation ceremony. You may be asked to leave if you disrupt the ceremony. Also, please refrain from bringing signs, balloons or other items into the ceremony.
As a reminder, family members will not be allowed to leave their seats to take pictures during the ceremony.
Inclement Weather Plan
In the event of a rain delay, we will work to move the graduation to later in the afternoon on Sunday, June 7. If the weather is extremely poor all day on Sunday, then we will look at an alternative date and time for the ceremony (possibly the afternoon of Saturday, June 6 or the evening of or Monday, June 8).
