About Marlborough Public Schools
Marlborough Public Schools fosters academic excellence and celebrates cultural diversity in a supportive, welcoming community. Our district serves nearly 5,000 students and employs over 400 full-time teachers. The district includes an early childhood center, four K-5 elementary schools, one 6-8 middle school, and a high school for grades 9-12. There is also an additional alternative program for high school students.
Located in Massachusetts' MetroWest region, the City of Marlborough is a diverse community of approximately 40,000 residents, representing a wide range of cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. In Marlborough, 33.2 percent of residents speak a native language other than English at home.
In Marlborough Public Schools, over 30 percent of our students have been identified as English learners. Of our nearly 5,000 students, 16% are students with disabilities. Our Strategy for Improvement Plan shows our ongoing commitment to valuing these students' individual identities.
We provide the necessary strategies and resources to ensure that every student receives the support they need to learn and succeed.
