2026-27 Preschool Lottery Information

Lottery Eligibility Information:

The Marlborough Early Childhood Center uses a lottery system for admitting students into ECC classes. To enter for the lottery, parents or guardians must complete a google form. Once completed and submitted you will receive a confirmation email, and your child will be entered into the lottery. If your child is currently enrolled at the MECC, you do not have to enter them into the lottery.

Lottery entries for the Marlborough Early Childhood Center 2026-2027 school year will begin Monday, January 12th, 2026, and end February 13th, 2026.  Lottery entries received after February 13th, 2026, will automatically go on the waitlist.

Lottery programs for the 2026-2027 school year are:

PK1: Full Day Program, Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 1:45PM.  To be eligible for PK1 your child must be 4 years old by 8/31/2026

PK2: Half Day Program, Monday through Thursday, offering morning session 8:30AM to 11AM or afternoon session 12:00PM to 2:30PM.  Lottery will be pulled to fill AM slots first followed by PM slots. To be eligible for PK2 your child must be 3 years old by 8/31/2026.

Lottery will be pulled over the February school break, families will be notified in the weeks following if their child was selected in the lottery or if they are currently waitlisted.

About the ECC:

The Marlborough Early Childhood Center (MECC) is an integrated preschool program serving both special needs and general education students. Classes are taught by highly qualified teachers who are certified in the areas of early childhood education and special education. Support staff, such as paraeducators and behavior techs, and related service providers are also certified for classroom work.

NOTE: Bus transportation is only available to students with special needs who qualify for it; most parents are responsible for their ECC students’ transportation to and from school.

Requirements for ECC Registration if Selected:

For students who are selected via the lottery process:

  1. Complete Aspen Student Registration (information to be provided soon).

  2. Provide your unique registration code in the registration portal when prompted.

  3. Please provide all required documents in your registration.
