Strategic Plan
Imagine Marlborough Public Schools five years from now.
In collaboration with Focused Schools, we are on a journey to develop our district's five-year strategic plan and Portrait of a Learner. We will reflect on the unique aspects of our district and how our work impacts the community. Together, we will define what success looks like for our students, faculty, staff and the community.
Faculty, staff, students and various community members from every building and department will contribute to our strategic plan. With your input, this plan will reflect our collective mission, vision, values and shared goals and priorities as a unified district.
Stay tuned for more ways to get involved—including through surveys, focus groups, public meetings and a steering committee.
Join our Community Listening Sessions
Marlborough Public Schools invites students, families, staff, alums and community members to participate in our strategic plan community listening sessions. These conversations, facilitated by Focused Schools, are designed to gather input on what every student should know, be able to do and believe by graduation and what the district needs to prioritize to support that vision.
Listening sessions will be held in multiple formats, including sessions hosted within school buildings for staff and students, as well as in-person and virtual sessions for families and community members.
In-person sessions for families and community members will be held on the following dates at the District Education Office located at 25 Union St. Please enter through door #10, and someone will walk you to the DEC Center. Light refreshments will be provided, and interpreters will be available.
