Jason DeFalco, Ed.D., began serving as interim superintendent for the Marlborough Public Schools in July 2025. In January 2026, the Marlborough School Committee granted him a contract extension, securing his leadership position for another four years.
Dr. DeFalco has nearly 25 years of experience in public education. Before joining Marlborough Public Schools, Dr. DeFalco served as superintendent of the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District for seven years. He holds a Doctor of Education degree from Johnson & Wales University, a Master of Science in School Leadership and Administration from Worcester State College and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Sociology from Suffolk University.
Originally from Worcester, Dr. DeFalco is also a dedicated father to two sons.
