Dear MPS Families,
Today, Monday, August 25, we proudly welcomed back over 800 dedicated MPS team members who are eager and excited to open the doors to a new school year. Their energy and commitment are focused on one goal: greeting your children with open arms this Wednesday and setting the tone for a year filled with learning, growth, and connection.
We recognize that this year’s transportation model has brought stress for some families—thank you for your patience and perseverance as we work through the changes together. Please know that we’re here for you. If you have any last-minute transportation questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to our Director of Finance and Operations, Matthew Wells, at mwells@mps-edu.org, and please cc me at jdefalco@mps-edu.org. We are committed to addressing the issues within our reach as quickly and effectively as possible
While some bumps are always expected at the start of the school year, we are deeply committed to minimizing disruptions and supporting our students and families every step of the way. Your partnership is invaluable to us, and together, we’re building a strong foundation for a successful school year.
We can't wait to see our students on Wednesday!
Warm regards,
Jay
