Due to the cold weather and declining participation, the Kane School has decided to cancel the remaining walk-to-school events for 2025. Fitness Fridays will resume in the spring of 2026.

We invite all family members of Francis J. Kane Elementary School to join us for our weekly Walk-to-School events. In collaboration with the Wayside Athletic Club, we will meet at 80 Broadmeadow St. at 8:20 a.m. on Friday mornings throughout the school year (except during holidays or school vacation days).

We will start with a brief stretching session before walking the students to school. While caregivers are welcome to join, their presence is not required.

Caregivers should park in the back area of the parking lot, nearest to the entrance, to avoid disrupting Wayside members who use the club facilities. Please return to your cars promptly after the walk to help free up parking spaces for Wayside members.

We extend our gratitude to the Wayside Athletic Club for partnering with Kane School and allowing us to use their parking lot.
