On March 26, current juniors and their families were welcomed to an engaging information night focused on the EMT program for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about the unique structure of this hybrid senior-year option, which blends classroom learning with hands-on experience. They were introduced to the talented staff from Marlborough High School and PrideStar Ambulance, who are committed to guiding program participants through their educational journey. Our juniors and their families also had the chance to hear inspiring stories from this year's program participants, who recently began their internship rotations in the public safety sector, gaining valuable real-world experience. The evening concluded in the EMT classroom, where current EMT program students proudly demonstrated the impressive practical skills they have developed throughout the year.
Thank you to our staff for organizing this event, which gives our juniors insight into one of their many senior-year options when they #ChooseMHS.

Their first stop was Assumption University, where the students attended an information session followed by a campus tour and lunch in the dining hall. During lunch, they spontaneously met Hunter Correia, a Marlborough High School Class of 2025 graduate, who shared his experiences at the university and highlighted the incredible support available to Assumption students.
Next, the group visited Quinsigamond Community College, where they toured the campus and met with the Office of Transfer and Articulation Services. This meeting provided valuable insights into the benefits and applicability of both Early College and community college credits. Additionally, the OneGoal students who are currently enrolled in a First-Year Experience course at QCC received their photo IDs during the visit, allowing them to take advantage of college student discounts.
We are grateful to our MHS guidance counselors and the entire staff who planned and chaperoned these events, allowing our students to explore their post-graduation options.

This engaging and free event, hosted by the MPS Family Community Liaisons, promises to be fun for the whole family. Interpreters will be available.
Several vendors and community partners will demonstrate their services and offer samples, and there will be a variety of opportunities for students to actively participate in wellness activities. Enjoy complimentary food, free books and the chance to win prizes while accessing valuable community resources.
Don’t miss our special presentation on "The Impact of Social Media on Youth Mental Health," designed to empower families with important insights.

On March 5, over 40 juniors and seniors from Marlborough High School attended the School to Business Expo at Solomon Pond Mall, organized by the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation. At the high school level, our team won the Sportsmanship Award but narrowly missed qualifying for the world competition by just one point. We are proud to announce that they were one of the very few public school teams to perform at such a high level, and they remain in the top 5% worldwide for skills scores.
Congratulations to our talented students and to their supportive advisors, Ms. Joanne Mahoney and Mr. Kyle Mager, respectively! Thank you for demonstrating not only what a public school education can provide, but specifically what MPS has to offer our students.

Kyle achieved 1st place in Fundamental Accounting and 4th place in Interview Skills. Joe placed 3rd in Fundamental Accounting, while Shayla placed 2nd in Payroll Accounting.
In preparation for this event, the students studied and completed mock tests for weeks. They also dedicated several days to working on their news broadcasting production presentation, which was showcased at the state competition. Their accomplishments would not have been possible without the guidance of Ms. Haley, who received an Advisor Award for over 20 years of dedicated service to the MHS BPA club.
Congratulations to this remarkable team and Ms. Haley on their achievements, and best of luck at nationals, Panthers!

With their creativity and collaboration, they aim to earn a qualifying award to once again represent our district at the World Championship.
Join us in cheering them on as they showcase their skills and innovation on March 7-8, starting at 8:30 a.m. each day at Walsh Middle School in Framingham. Let’s show our Panther Pride!
